Chelsea Fans Want Man United Highly Rated Star at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea fans have called on the club’s hierarchy to re-sign Spain international midfielder Juan Mata after the player’s short but amazing video on his social media accounts.

The video contains the player’s wonderful skills and goals in the 2012/13 season when he was named the league’s player of the season, during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Mata arguably had his best form so far during the 2012-13 season, his link-up play was perfect, he also tracked back to help defend despite playing in a more advanced position. The Spanish star was a nightmare to all defenders in the League due to his mesmerizing display and creativity.

Though the player’s awesome display was short-lived due to the return of José Mourinho from Real Madrid in 2013. The Portuguese manager seems not to rate the midfield maestro as he preferred using Brazilian star Oscar in his starting lineup despite the Spaniard’s exploit when given some game-time.

Having failed to convince Mourinho that he deserves more regular first-team action, Mata became more desperate to leave the West London Club and his wish was granted by the Blues as he was allowed to join Manchester United in the 2013 summer transfer window during David Moyes reign at Old Trafford.

Chelsea faithful are hoping to see Mata return Stamford Bridge as they took to social media to show their desire.

One fan admitted that Mourinho wasting the player’s talent, he, therefore, advised him to return to Chelsea.

Another one compared the player’s exploit for the Blues to what he’s doing at United, he, therefore, calls on the player to return home( Chelsea)
