Manager of Chelsea Antonio Conte has revealed why he decided to change to the 3-4-3 formation. Chelsea started the season using a 4-2-4 system, a formation that Conte had used in Italy during his time at Bari but keeping clean sheets became a problem for Chelsea at the beginning of the season and the club suffered back to back defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal and this prompted Conte to rethink his strategy. Chelsea continued with their impressive form in the premier league with a classy 2-0 win at  Southampton. The win is Chelsea’s fourth league win in a row, a feat they last did in April 2015 on their way to winning the premiership title. The win ensured that Chelsea kept pace with the front-runners on the table as they went up to fourth place a point behind Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool. Reports are claiming that Chelsea is preparing a bid for Paris Saint Germain midfielder Javier Pastore. The move is set to happen during the January transfer window as the blues are keen on having the Argentine at Stamford Bridge.
