Arsenal scout confirmed to have watched Dundee prospect

It has been revealed that Arsenal scout was on the ground to watch Dundee whizkid Kerr Waddell during the summer and it might be time for a move to be made for him.

The North London club have joined a number of clubs who are monitoring the progress of the 20-year-old in a bid to pick him up.

Kerr Waddell is currently on loan at Championship outfit Morton and he is believed to have extended his loan spell until the end of the season which gives the Gunners more opportunity to watch the young talent.

The young lad has been involved in a series of loan moves to various clubs but he is now stable at Morton to allow his suitors with the opportunity of watching him.

Kerr Waddell’s performance gave him easy first-team breakthrough at Dens early last season where he got the all-important goal that ensured his side’s win over Hearts.

However, Dundee coach has stated that Kerr Waddell is being monitored and would be asked to return back to the club once he is ready for first-team football.

Arsenal are reported to be convinced of the player’s progress and are already preparing a deal for him in the coming winter window.
