Pictures of Belgian duo of Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have gone viral on the internet, with Chelsea supporters believing that the duo could be prepared to sign a new deal.
Striker wants duo to stay
Winter signing France international striker Olivier Giroud was the latest member of the squad to insist that the Blues have to secure the Chelsea futures of the influential pair, according to The Express during the week, with the Belgian goalkeeper having only over a year left on his contract.
Eden Hazard seemingly isn’t such a major worry as he’s under contract until the summer of 2020, but the point is that Chelsea want their best players to sign a long-term contracts to either reinforce the side’s position in the event that they are sold or to ideally keep them at the club for the foreseeable future.
Fans ahead of themselves
As seen in the viral image of Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge has got Chelsea supporters talking with a number of them believing that it could be the beginning of the process of him announcing a new deal.
Similarly, there was a photo of Belgium goalkeeper Courtois which also led to the same rumour, but it seems as though Blues fans may have got it all wrong.
