According to British media reports, Premier League champions Manchester City are preparing a £100million offer to sign forward Eden Hazard from Chelsea this summer transfer window.
Champions want Chelsea star
The Daily Star is claiming that City are considering a big-money offer for the Belgium international playmaker, whose Chelsea future continues to be a major source of rumour.
The attacker’s situation at Stamford Bridge is poised to be a major source of speculation this summer window once again, especially after Chelsea missed out on qualification for next term’s UEFA Champions League.
As per the same report, Eden Hazard is Pep Guardiola’s primary transfer target this summer window and the City boss is sure of being able to lure Eden to the Etihad Stadium.
Euro giants pursue Chelsea superstar
The same report states that the former Lille attacker has been heavily linked with a move to both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in the past, but the Citizen’s have now emerged as the very strong contender to sign the Belgian.
Eden Hazard has two seasons remaining on his deal at the West London club and Pep Guardiola is apparently interested in exploiting the uncertainty surrounding the player’s future.
The Chelsea attacker was the main star of the showdown as he helped to inspire the Blues to a 1-0 victory over rivals Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup final on Saturday evening at Wembley.
