Jose Mourinho showed interest in defender to destabilize Leicester City – Claude Puel

Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho is not having the best of the summer transfer window and this might affect the football club in the soon to begin 2018/19 season.

The Portugal international has been linked to different signings but so far only one major player, Fred has been signed.

Mourinho has been keen on adding another defender despite Man United board claiming the club is stockpiled with numerous defenders.

One of the defenders Jose Mourinho wanted to bring to Old Trafford is Leicester City defender, Harry Maguire but the deal didn’t materialize and it is being trailed by controversies currently.

Harry Maguire during the week came out to clear the air as he gave reassurance to Leicester City by declaring that he wouldn’t leave the club and the process dashing Mourinho’s hope of signing him.

New report from Leicester City coach, Claude Puel, stated that Jose Mourinho intentionally showed interest in their defender to destabilize the club before their opening match.

Man Utd and Leicester City will have the first go in the opening match of a new season few days from now.

Peul believes Mourinho did it on purpose to create a stir and distractions.
