Emerging reports from Spain reveal that English Premier League side Manchester United are already dipped in negotiation with Barcelona for the signature of former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.

The Red Devils were only linked with the star player some days back but have made bold moves to enter into negotiation for a deal believed to be worth about £100 million.

Philippe Coutinho only left the Anfield for the Nuo Camp last year January and he is already unsettled having lost out of the team with most games on the bench.

The Brazilian international is now preferred after Ousmane Dembele which allegedly makes him frustrated and he might seek for a move away.

United are ready to hand him an escape route according to Caught Offside and they are reported to have gone ahead of Paris Saint Germain, Man City and Chelsea to secure his signature.

It is therefore not clear if the Spanish giants will be willing to let Philippe Coutinho leave at the moment as he is still a prized asset of the club, not minding the current happenings.

Should United succeed in their bid, Philippe Coutinho will return to the Premier League as a Red Devils and will face his former side, Liverpool.
