Struggling Premier League side Newcastle United are said to be plotting a transfer for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Pascal Gross ahead of the January transfer window.
The Newcastle United interest was confirmed via a publication from soccersouls.
Magpies boss Rafael Benitez has been promised funds for him to improve his squad when the transfer window reopens in two weeks time and he could make a move for German midfielder Pascal Gross.
Apart from Newcastle United, West Ham United and Premier League leaders Liverpool are also keen on a move for the 27-year-old.
Earlier reports had claimed that the Reds are plotting a £15m bid for the player.
Pascal Gross is attracting interests from a lot of top flight sides after his sensational debut season in English football in the last campaign.
He scored seven goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for Brighton last season as he helped the Seagulls escape relegation in their first Premier League campaign.
Pascal Gross was rewarded with a new deal in the summer but he has failed to hit those heights this season partly due to injuries.
He has scored just once in eight Premier League outings this season.
Brighton would definitely get a sizeable profit on the £3m transfer fee that was required to secure his transfer from German side Ingolstadt if they decide to sell him.
