According to British media reports, Premier League giants Arsenal have made signing Lucas Torreira as their top midfield transfer target this summer transfer window.
Arsenal keen on midfielder
The Daily Mail is claiming that Arsenal are prioritizing bringing in the Uruguay international midfielder following manager Unai Emery’s appointment as boss.
The same report states that Gunners duo Sven Mislintat and Raul Sanllehi are hoping to seal a transfer deal with Italian side Sampdoria and the midfielder before the start of the FIFA World Cup.
He will be hoping to play against Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny and the remaining Egypt colleagues in their FIFA World Cup opening match on Friday evening.
Arsenal to pay £22million
As per the same report, the fee will be about £22million if Arsenal can strike a transfer deal with the Italian outfit.
