Mohammad bin Salman officially speaks on United takeover bid

It was reported hours ago that Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman is offering a whopping £3.8 billion to the Glazers family to have him take over as Man United owner.

The reports claim that the English Premier League outfit chiefs are mostly seen around Saudi Arabia more often than before to him that there take over process is ongoing.

It was also reported that the Crown Prince does not mind if the Red Devils qualify for the Champions League next season or not as they are only desperate to own the club.

However, a spokesman for the Saudi royal family has spoken on behalf of the Crown Prince by denying the speculations, stating there is no move of such at the moment.

The Kingdom media minister Turki al-shabanah on Twitter stated that the reports are completely false, explaining that the only contact between the two parties was meant to discuss sponsorship deals which are also yet to materialize.

Meanwhile, the Glazers family were suggested to have been lured with such a whopping amount knowing the profit that would be earned as they had bought the club for £790 million 14 years ago but there will be no deal as claimed.
