What FA Cup result against Chelsea will mean for United, Solskjaer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

There are suggestions that a number of things and decisions are bothered around the fifth round of the FA Cup clash between Chelsea and Man United later on Monday.

For Manchester United who are considering the interim manager Ole Gunnar Solsjaer for the job on a permanent deal, they could have their mind changed if he fails to deliver a win against the West London outfit.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got the support of the fans, pundits and former players after helping the Red Devils to return to winning ways. He has won 10 games with a defeat and a draw in his last 12 games, a feat that was not achieved under a more experienced Jose Mourinho.

However, the only defeat against Paris Saint Germain seems to be a major setback to the former United forward as his ability to deliver against big sides is now under a major doubt.

The Red Devils management had earlier announced that they will be in search of a permanence manager with big experience in the coming summer window ahead of next season and that could just be the last resort should Ole Gunnar fails to prove that he is capable to take charge.
