Manchester United officially unveiled Brazilian midfielder Fred some hours ago to the excitement of the fans. And it appears the Old Trafford club still have more plans to make their fans even more excited this summer.
According to reports, manager Jose Mourinho is determined to sign a second midfielder after sealing Fred’s deal.
Fred was granted a work permit and has penned a five-year deal with the red devils. The now-former Shakhtar Donetsk star will replace Michael Carrick at the Theater of dreams after he caught Jose Mourinho’s attention with his impressive performances at his former Ukrainian side.
However, Manchester United are poised to lose another midfielder this summer. Belgium international Marouane Fellaini is ready to dump Old Trafford any moment from now after he refused to sign a new deal with the red devils to extend his stay at the Theater of Dreams.
It was made known that Mourinho is now searching for a new young midfielder to reinforce his midfield department at the club.
MEN also added that the Portuguese tactician is determined to keep the likes of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera and Scott McTominay with him at the Theater of Dreams.
Pogba has been linked with a move back to Juventus while Herrera is thought to be keen on moving back to his home country Spain.
