Injury boost! Antonio Conte handed double boost as Chelsea get set for Premier League action

Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard should be fit for Chelsea’s match with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday despite sustaining a knock while representing his National team, according to reports emanating from his native land Belgium.

Hazard, 26, was dropped from the Belgium team for their 1-0 loss of Japan on Wednesday night after being substituted with five minutes left in their friendly match draw with Mexico some days before.

But as reported by HLN via the Metro, Hazard’s absence from the midweek match was precautionary.

Talking ahead of the Japanese game, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez played down the seriousness of Eden Hazard’s knock, telling newsmen that it was not a big problem.

Chelsea tactician Antonio Conte will be hoping that the Belgium coach is telling the truth concerning the injury, after their the Blues star player missed the start of the League campaign because of an ankle problem picked up while on Belgium duty at the start of the summer.

Meanwhile, ahead of the Saturday clash, there are more good updates for Chelsea fans, as West Brom will be without James Morrison after he underwent an operation on his right heel.

James Morrison will now be working very hard to make sure he returns to full fitness soonest.
