Ross Barkley ready to hold to his spot even if Kovacic and Fabregas return from injury

Chelsea 25-year-old midfielder, Ross Barkley is determined to resurrect his football career having been under series of injuries last season that saw him been unable to perform under former coach, Antonio Conte.

Since New boss, Sarri Maurizio took charge as the new boss at Chelsea, the midfielder had become a regular during the preseason games, the community shield match against Manchester City and their first game in EPL against Leicester City.

But the question is, how long will Barkley be able to hold the third spot on the midfield at Chelsea?

Sarri is making use of three midfielders and two of the spot are already permanently fixed for new midfielder, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante while the third sport is to be battled for.

Apart from Ross Barkley, Chelsea FC have Spanish player, Fabregas, who is set to return very soon following a knee injury.

They also have a new loaned out midfielder from Real Madrid, Matteo Kovacic, who is likely to get the spot on a permanent basis.

And finally, there is Ruben Loftus-Cheek to battle with as the English player has refused to go on loan as he hopes to win Sarri’s favour.
