Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has made a shocking revelation about the last days of his stay at the Old Trafford.

According to the MLS club DC United striker, he felt embarrassed as a Red Devil because he was not seeing enough games at the Old Trafford and that was a major reason why he had to move on.

Rooney ‘s Manchester United career ended in the 2016/2017 season where he featured in 39 out of 64 games for his former side.

However, he left the Old Trafford as the club’s highest goal scorer of all time and that applies to the England national team as well.

All of the good memories were almost fading away in the head of the former England national team striker as he confessed that he started doubting his ability because he was not seeing games.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old has since moved on by joining Everton when he first left the Old Trafford and he is currently with the MLS club.

The former Everton striker has hinted that he will immediately go into coaching when he retires to follow the footsteps Frank Lampard, John Terry and others who retired from active football and immediately picked up coaching job having secured needed qualification.
