Arsenal told price for Ligue 1 youngster
The interest of the English Premier League side Arsenal have gone one step ahead for highly-rated Rennes forward Ismaila Sarr following reports that the North London side have been told the price for the player.
The Gunners have since been linked with the player in a bid to have his signature in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks having already made contact with the French Ligue 1 club
However, the North London side have been told that they will have to pay within the sum of £30 million before they can be able to secure his signature.
A weekly magazine France Football had described Ismaila Sarr as a player who is ‘bankable’ and also full of talents that have helped him attract the interest he has got from other European sides.
Ismaila Sarr has been linked to Liverpool’s Sadio Mane as a result of his style of play and he will cost the Merseyside club way over the £17 million that was paid on him to join Rennes in 2017.
Meanwhile, both North London side Arsenal and Crystal Palace were reported to have shown serious interest in Ismaila Sarr but they have since lost out with the Reds already looking to have won the race.
