Real Madrid to offer attacker to lower €200m Salah price – not Bale

According to Spanish media reports, Champions League holder Real Madrid will offer an attacker as part of a move to land Liverpool attacker Mo Salah this summer transfer window.

Winger involved in deal

As per Don Balon, the Spanish giants will offer winger Lucas Vazquez in exchange in their attempt to lure Mo Salah to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Their report suggests that the Reds are keen on Lucas Vazquez, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez feels that could be a major piece to get the Egypt international winger.

Massive money involved

The La Liga giants were planning on tabling a €200million offer for the reigning African footballer of the year, but they still believe that may not be good enough to get the deal done. However, with Brazil international Lucas Vazquez added to the offer, the valuation is expected to be reduced.

According to the Daily Mail earlier in the week, Mo Salah will not be offloaded this summer transfer window, even if Real Madrid place a £200million offer.

The 25-year-old, has had a fantastic campaign for Liverpool, scoring 43 goals across all competitions – helping the Reds to close in on a Champions League place in the English Premier League and move closer to the UEFA Champions League final.
