According to media reports, Manchester United star Marouane Fellaini has turned down the offer of a fresh contract worth £140,000-weekly at Old Trafford and is set to depart this summer.
Fellaini set to leave Old Trafford
As per the Daily Star, as cited by Metro, Belgium international midfielder has made his mind up to leave the club at the end of the campaign despite having held several discussions with manager Jose Mourinho last month.
As reported by the same article, the former Everton man has decided to reject the new offer worth over £140,000-weekly, which is way more than his current £80,000-week wage.
Contract running out
He is out of Manchester United contract in the summer window meaning that he can go on a free move.
The same article says that Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, West Ham, Monaco and Leicester are all closely keeping tab on the player’s situation at the club and hoping to sign him for free in the summer.
Big money awaits him
Because the Big Belgian is available on Bosman rule, he can expect a massive rise in his wages and a huge signing-on fee for leaving Man Utd this summer.
Meanwhile, the Red Devil’s are aiming to finish the current campaign on a high by defeating Chelsea to win the Emirates FA Cup in May at Wembley Stadium.
