The DOWNFALL of the DNC started with HRC in 2016!

The 2016 election marked a significant turning point for the Democratic Party, primarily due to the sidelining of Bernie Sanders. The party made a strategic error by nominating Hillary Clinton, who, despite her extensive experience, lacked the passionate and dedicated following that Sanders had cultivated. This decision contributed to the Democrats’ loss in the 2016 election and set off a chain reaction that would affect the party’s reputation and morale for years to come.

Fast forward to 2024, and the consequences of that decision are still being felt. The Democratic Party’s insistence on nominating the so-called “Pied Piper” candidate—someone seen as charismatic but unpolished—resulted in a lack of clear direction and an inability to galvanize the base. This misstep left the party struggling to regain its footing, unable to capitalize on its traditional strengths.

Adding insult to injury, the party’s leadership made several questionable decisions in subsequent elections, such as dismissing and disparaging Tulsi Gabbard, blocking Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from debating Joe Biden, and ultimately appointing Kamala Harris as vice president without a public vote. These actions further eroded the party’s credibility and trust among its supporters.

As the party continues to search for a way to recover from its recent setbacks, it would do well to remember the lessons of the past. The Pied Piper candidate, though charismatic, ultimately proved to be a distraction, and the party’s failure to capitalize on its strengths left it vulnerable to shifting political tides. The DNC needs a TOP to BOTTOM revamping in my opinion, and others are starting to feel the same way!
