PSG swoop in, table offer to sign 22-year-old Chelsea target

According to media reports, French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have tabled an offer to land Chelsea transfer target Adama Traore.

ArabNews is claiming that the Ligue 1 side set to make a surprise swoop for the France U-21 international this summer despite spending last season in the English Championship.

The same report states PSG are keen on Traore to replace France international forward Kylian Mbappe as the club look to sell the teenager to balance their financial books with UEFA.

According to the same, the FA Cup winners are keen on a potential swoop to bring Traore to West London before permitting the attacker to return to Championship side Middlesbrough.

The French youngster netted three goals in 23 matches across all competitions last term after he failed to score in 27 English Premier League matches in his first season at Boro.

They finished in the fifth spot on the English Premier League log last term to miss out on a UEFA Champions League place for the second spell in three seasons.

They did manage to end the season with a silverware after the Blues were 1-0 winners against rivals Manchester United thanks to playmaker Eden Hazard’s goal from the spot.
