Club Finally Agree To Sell Player To Chelsea This Summer

According to reports, PSG are willing to sell Grzegorz Krychowiak to Chelsea after paying Barcelona a world record fee to lure Neymar.

Earlier this month, the Ligue I club splashed a superb £198million to activate Neymar’s release clause at Barcelona and are now understood to be set to recoup some of the fees by selling their players.

According to French news outlet L’Equipe, premier league champions Chelsea have the intentions of landing Grzegorz Krychowiak a month ago but weren’t attended to by the Paris club because they were busy trying to complete the Neymar deal.

The Poland international moved to PSG last summer in a deal worth €30m but was only able to make 11 Ligue 1 appearances and couldn’t get success nailing down a regular first team spot.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made it publicly known that he desire bringing in more players into his team despite that the summer transfer window is closing soon. And after selling Nemanja Matic to Manchester United, the Italian tactician may reignite interest in Krychowiak.

Summer signing Tiemoue Bakayoko is still injured and Conte is short of options – something that became glaring during their 3-2 loss to Burnley last Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian manager is getting ready to lead his men to Wembley on Sunday to tackle Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur.
