Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has sent a strong warning to teammate Ousmane Dembele amidst transfer rumours linking him with a move to Liverpool in the upcoming transfer window.
The 2010 World Cup winner warned Dembele to improve his attitude after the exciting French winger was dropped from the Barcelona squad ahead of the home game against Real Betis in the Spanish La Liga.
The recently retired Spanish international defender spoke about Dembele after his Barcelona side lost a home game for the first time in two years following the surprising 4-3 loss to Europa League campaigners Real Betis.
Ousmane Dembele has hugged the headlines for the past few days after he missed training on Thursday without any prior notice to club officials.
The problem between Dembele and Barcelona would be music to the ears of several Premier League teams like Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been touted as possible transfer destinations for the 21-year-old.
He signed for Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona last summer following the agreement between the Catalan club and his former club, Borussia Dortmund.
Barcelona agreed to a fee of around €105m plus €35m in add-ons to prise him away from the German Bundesliga giants.
He won both the league and cup double in his first season with Barcelona.
