Arsenal legend Robert Pires has spoken of football life for former player Santi Cazorla after leaving the club in the summer.
The Spanish playmaker had said an un-ceremonial goodbye to the North London side after staying 18 months without kicking the ball due to an injury that almost cost his career.
With his move away from the club back to his former side Villarreal at the summer, the former Gunners have since found his form and gotten back into action.
The Spanish star has scored once and given two assists so far this season in addition to his exciting display which has dictated the rhythm in any game he plays.
The Arsenal legend Pires in his reaction to Cazorla’s development says he is happy to see smiles on the face of the star player.
Pires noted that he has had a good relationship with Cazorla, noting that he is a great guy who is well appreciated by everyone anywhere he goes.
The French man appreciates the fact that the Spaniard never gave up in his difficult time and all through his recovery period.
Meanwhile, the player had lamented the way he left the club without saying goodbye to the fans who stood by him when he was out of action.
