In Jose Mourinho’s post-match press conference, he invited his Manchester United players to conduct the interview after Herrera admitted the players lacked desire in their shameful defeat to Huddersfield.

As you reckon, this is United first ever defeat of the season by David Wagner’s Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre scoring the goals that won them three points.

It’s a great shock that Huddersfield could only score after Phil Jones left the pitch with an injury but later to be replaced by Victor Lindelof who couldn’t fit in well in the Game

Mourinho intentionally did not single out the player for blame but he was in great shock when he heard midfield maestro Herrera revealed the visitors had been outfought.

In Mourinho’s words, he said: ‘Midfield maestroHerrera is in the interviews saying the attitude and desire were very poor, my God. They should all go to the press conference and announce it.

‘In the first 30 or 35 minutes, we were playing very badly. They were more strong, passionate than we were.

‘Congratulations to all of them, they deserved it, but we have to think well and analyse where we lost today. We lost almost every ball. That cannot happen in the Premier League.

‘Everyone has to look into himself and analyse what happened in the first half. When you play against a very weak team that you know normally you are better than, you have to match their aggression and passion.

We didn’t do that. It cannot happen again to United. ‘In the second half we were OK. We tried to move the ball. It was OK, but not enough to get a full point.’

‘They Huddersfield played with everything I like, desire, motivation, sacrifice, and we lack that. So the team that deserved to win won.

‘If I was to be a Manchester United die-hard fan I would be disappointed also. You can lose games because the oppo has more quality than you but not lack of attitude ‘I don’t even remember a friendly match when our attitude was so poor.’
