According to media reports emanating from England, Premier League giant Chelsea haven’t received a bid from Serie A giants Juventus to land Alvaro Morata.
Chelsea yet to receive an offer from Juventus
As per Goal, Juventus haven’t tabled an offer for the Spaniard despite recent transfer rumour.
The same report states that Chelsea haven’t agreed on a transfer fee contrary to some media reports to offload their record transfer signing less than a year after the forward moved to West London.
The Blues signed the former Juventus star for a £60million deal from UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid last summer window to strengthen their attack ahead of the departure of Diego Costa.
However, Morata, 25, has heavily struggled with form and consistency in the past couple of months to raise several questions about the player’s ability to thrive in England.
Several uncertainties
As per the same report, both the futures of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri will need to be resolved before any possible deal.
The report in Goal claim that Chelsea won’t consider selling Alvaro Morata for less than their investment in the Spaniard.
The forward has netted 11 goals and has provided six assists in 29 matches in the English Premier League in his debut season in England.
