Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has heaped lots of praise on Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, but believes the Frenchman can still get better.
Pogba has been impressive at Man United this season and has scored three goals with five assists in eight premier league games so far.
The former Juventus midfielder, who came back from an injury, was shown the red card during the 3-1 win over Arsenal last Saturday, and he will miss the Manchester Derby against Pep Guardiola’s side this Sunday.
And former England midfielder Steven Gerrard has been impressed by the talented France international, hailing Pogba for thriving under big pressure at Old Trafford.
Speaking to BT Sport, Steven said Paul came back to Manchester United for a huge fee, which automatically placed lots of pressure on him, but he still manages to grow continuously.
The Englishman also hailed the 24-year-old as a quality passer who is making Man United a stronger club on the pitch.
However, Gerrard feels one weakness Pogba should improve on is that he goes forward too much, adding that he also faced a similar problem in his career at Liverpool.
Pogba will miss his side’s next three local games after picking a red card last Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.
