Premier League giant Manchester United are hoping to seal a big-money move for Roma shot-stopper Alisson ahead of Liverpool, as per a report from Italy.
Man United want Alisson
Gazzetto dello Sport, as cited by Metro, is claiming that the Reds Devils are considering a swoop to land the Brazilian should Spaniard David De Gea leave the club this summer window.
The same story states that United are making contingency plans should UEFA Champions League finalists Real Madrid signs De Gea this summer.
As per the same story, United have expressed their interest in the £70m safe hand ahead of the next transfer window following the player’s excellent campaign in Rome.
Liverpool need a solid goalie
Merseyside giants Liverpool have been strongly linked with a number of goalkeepers recently after Loris Karius’ unimpressive start to his Liverpool career.
However, the German goalie has displaced Simon Mignolet as the Reds first-choice safe hand over the last few months.
But Liverpool continue to be mentioned with an interest in the Brazil international safe hand ahead of the end of the campaign.
The Anfield giant will take on La Liga giant Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final after defeating Alisson and Roma in the semi final.
