Man United agree to cough out €70m to bring in 28-year-old playmaker

Premier League side Manchester United are set to pay a whopping €70million to land Tony Kroos from Santiago Bernabeu, as per reports.

Man United willing to match demands
According to Spanish media reports, the former Premier League champions are now willing to pay a staggering €70million to try and complete the signing of Toni Kroos from La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer transfer window.

Spanish publication Don Balon, are claiming that the Germany international creative midfielder has become one of manager Jose Mourinho’s top targets this summer window as the Manchester United manager looks to reinforce his team.

Swap deal a possibility
The midfielder has been strongly linked with the Red Devils in the past, and United are now being tipped as wanting to land the 28-year-old this summer transfer window.

There has also been a claim that a direct swap deal involving France international midfielder Paul Pogba could also be in the making.

The Premier League giants are thought to be in the market for a couple of new recruits this summer window as they look to try and reinforce their team ahead of next term.

United finished the Premier League season last term in second position, 19 points adrift champions and eternal rivals Manchester City.
