Aaron Ramsey

Former Arsenal player, Sol Campbell has stated that letting Aaron Ramsey leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season will be a big mistake for the club.

He lamented that his former side are yet to learn from the contract experiences of Alexis Sanchez, Jack Wilshere and Mesut Ozil.

Campbell who described Ramsey as a great and fantastic player stated that it is a shame for the North London side being in such a situation as this.

The reason why the Welshman has refused to extend his contract with Arsenal is still unknown but it has been suggested that he is angry at the fact that a lucrative offer of £350,000 a week deal was offered to Mesut Ozil.

Ozil also had the same encounter with Arsenal but ended up agreeing to a deal at the dying minute.

Arsenal fans would be glad that the same tactics are being employed by the 27-year-old to ensure he makes his importance known and get a better deal rather than him leaving the club.

Ramsey has refused to discuss his contract talks with anyone and not even his teammates can tell of the present situation.

Manager Unai Emery has made it clear that he wants the player but can only do little in contract situations as it is only left for the board to handle.
