Arsenal are still unbeaten in 16 games and are confident of a qualification to the next round of the Europa League looking sure with 10 points in 4 games.

No wonder, manager Unai Emery travelled with a number of the U23 side for the showdown in Ukraine to have a mixed team of senior and younger players.

So far, Danny Welbeck, Nacho Monreal and Konstantinos Mavropanos are the only players who are unavailable for selection which means a number of first-team players could have some rest.

However, Arsenal fans will expect to see Petr Cech with the gloves for Bernd Leno to rest while Jenkinson, Ron Holding Pleguezuelo and Lichtsteiner could be handed the mandate to hold the defence.

Also, Mohammed Elneny and Maitland-Niles could be in front of the defence while Alex Iwobi, Aaron Ramsey and Smith-Rowe are expected to push for an attack from the middle.

There are feelers that Eddie Nketiah could lead the Gunners while Pierre Emerick Aubameyang would be allowed to take some rest to be fresh for the Premier League encounter at the weekend.

However, Unai Emery is expected to have a fresh team for the weekend’s London Derby against Tottenham with the game expected to determine who pushes to the top four.
