According to Italian media reports, Liverpool are set to enter the transfer race to land unhappy Chelsea shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois.
Liverpool want Chelsea star
Italian publication Gianliucadimarzio.com, as cited by Metro, is claiming that Liverpool are set to launch a bid to sign the Belgium international goalkeeper.
The same report says that the safe hand is set to leave the west London club following a tough season for the Blues under manager Antonio Conte.
As per the same report, the Belgian goalie is determined to force a transfer this summer window as the 26-year-old shot-stopper looks to secure a fresh challenge.
Real Madrid also keen on Chelsea goalie
Real Madrid have been constantly linked with a transfer to land Courtois, although Spain international David De Gea is believed to be Los Blancos’ top transfer choice to replace Keylor Navas.
The Reds safe hand Loris Karius made two errors in Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final last Saturday in Kiev.
The Merseysider’s have also been strongly linked with Roma safe hand Alisson Becker and Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid over the last 12 months.
The Reds are also tipped with an interest in England World Cup-bound goalie Jack Butland after Stoke City dropped to the Championship.
