Monaco star player Thomas Lemar is ready to follow the footsteps of the likes of Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko who moved to England during the summer transfer window to play in the premier league.
Lemar is ready to leave Monaco next January and has identified his preferred destination.
The French winger was heavily linked with joining Arsenal in the summer but nothing could happen before the closure of the window.
Arsenal are still interested in bringing the 22-year-old over to North London in January but will be facing serious competition from rivals, Chelsea and Liverpool, this time around.
There are new reports the France international has identified Anfield as his first choice destination and will ignore Arsenal to complete a move to Liverpool.
However, it was added that the Ligue 1 champions will sell the youngster for £90 Million.
Now, Phillipe Coutinho is expected to leave Anfield to Barcelona next year for a fee above £100 Million, and the La Liga giants are likely to send Ivan Rakitic over to Anfield.
To me, it is pointless spending a whopping £90 Million on Lemar – who is currently struggling for consistency this season so far, when a world class midfielder like Ivan Rakitic is coming for free.
