Again, Lukaku Breaks Record Of Another United Legend

Man United summer signing Romelu Lukaku continued his brilliant start to life at Old Trafford by scoring twice in his new side’s 4-1 win against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday.

The talented player joined the red devils from Everton for £75million this summer and has been able to prove to his new employers that they made the right decision paying that much to secure his services.

The Belgium international scored a brace during his debut for Manchester United in the premier league and has gone ahead to score in all but one of his nine appearances for the club since making the switch from Goodison Park.

Following their 4-1 Champions League win at Russia on Wednesday, Jose Mourinho will be welcoming Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday for his next premier league duty, and the Portuguese boss will hope his new attacker will continue his fine goal-scoring form.

After creating a better early record when compared to some Man United legends like Ruud van Nistelrooy and Eric Cantona, the Belgian striker have been able to do better than the record set by Manchester United all time legend Sir Bobby Charlton in 1959.

While Bobby scored nine goals in his first nine starts for Man United during his playing days, Romelu’s superb form has seen him beat Bob’s record by scoring ten goals in his first nine starts for the club.

Lukaku will hope to do more exploits for his new club both in the premier league and in Europe.
