According to British media reports, Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho has held discussions with club chief Ed Woodward about bringing Gareth Bale from La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer transfer window.
The Manchester Evening News, as cited by the Daily Express, is claiming that the former Real Madrid boss and club Chief Executive have help initial talks about bringing in the Wales international attacker.
Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer
The same report states that United were already keen on Bale before he publicly declared about his future in Kiev.
As per the same report, the Woodward is desperate to land Bale to further strengthen the rebuilding job that Jose Mourinho is overseeing at the club.
The Red Devils have been constantly linked with a move to land the winger over the past few campaigns but a transfer deal has failed to happen.
Jose Mourinho, like the club Chief, is believed to be a huge admirer of the Ex-Spurs wide man to increase the possibility of an offer from the Red Devils this summer window.
