Shocker! Premier League manager makes disturbing Chelsea prediction

Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has warned defending Champions Chelsea that they are facing a difficult battle to finish in the League’s top four.

Fumbling Champions

Chelsea dropped down to the fourth spot on the log on Wednesday following a disappointing 3-0 defeat to AFC Bournemouth at the Bridge.

The blues are two points ahead of Spurs who overtook after Tottenham were 2-0 winners over Premier League giants Manchester United at Wembley Stadium mid-week.

The reigning Champions have only won a game in their last four League matches and manager Antonio Conte has struck a frustrating figure in the technical area.

Struggling Champions

The west London club signed from Everton Ross Barkley, defender Emerson Palmieri from AS Roma and Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud.

The ex-Tottenham boss Redknapp feels the Blues could struggle heavily to seal a top-four finish in the Premier League this term.

Chelsea have won the English Premier League title on two occasions in the last three seasons under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho and then Antonio Conte.

They are attempting to win the UEFA Champions League title for the first very time since their first victory in 2012 when they defeated Bayern Munich in Munich.

Conte’s men will take on Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16 this month.
