Inter Milan Join Liverpool In Race To Sign €40m Rated Midfielder
Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan have joined the ever-growing race to sign Nicolo Barella ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
Nicolo Barella plays his club football at Italian Serie A side Cagliari at the moment.
The 21-year-old has been in sensational form for the better part of the last two seasons.
His impressive outings earned him a call-up to the Italian national team currently managed by Premier League winner Roberto Mancini.
He made his debut for four-time world champions Italy in the international friendly clash with fellow Europeans Ukraine in October.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw in what was a repeat of the 2006 FIFA World Cup quarterfinal which the Italians won 3-0.
He added a second appearance for his country in the 1-0 victory at the home of Poland.
According to the publication from trusted Italian media platform calciomercato, Inter Milan have joined the Premier League duo of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in the race to sign the midfielder.
It could take up to €40m for any club to prise the Cagliari Academy graduate from the club who he has scored seven goals for in 82 Italian Serie A appearances.
