Finally, truth about Ozil, Emery bust-up revealed
With lots of accounts on the reported bust-up between Arsenal manager and star player, Mesut Ozil, Spanish defender, Nacho Monreal says there is no iota of truth in the speculations seen in the media.
Monreal insisted that there was nothing as close as that but suggest that the report was sponsored by the midfielder’s detractors.
The Spanish player said some football spectators and the press have been unfair to the player whom he describes as a nice guy.
He said Ozil is a very famous player and people love to talk about him but that does not mean he should be treated badly.
He affirmed that the German player was only seeking permission to go to have a medical treatment and rest.
According to him, the report of the media is a surprise to him but noted that it is tiring ready such reports in the media.
While the midfielder is yet to give a reaction on the speculations, Arsenal boss, Emery had come out to dismiss the claim, stressing that he there was nothing as close as that.
Ozil has been in the media reports of late especially with the alleged racism against him by the German Football Association because he had been pictured with Turkey’s President Erdogan and his country’s disastrous performance at the World Cup.
