Confirmed Gunners star to land new improved contract

It has been confirmed that Arsenal young sensation Julio Pleguezuelo would be handed a new and improved offer at the Emirate Stadium before the end of this month.

This is after the Gunners U23 head coach Freddie Ljungberg approached the club management to make the demand for Julio Pleguezuelo owing to his impact on the team.

A report according to Kike Marin claims that the Gunners U23 boss has identified Julio Pleguezuelo has a key member of the Arsenal team and should not be allowed to leave the North London anytime soon.

He is just 21 years of age, but Julio Pleguezuelo has been able to impress the management as well as the coaches and they are ready to guide him away from suitors who are reported to be making enquires already.

A little of Julio Pleguezuelo was seen by a majority of the Arsenal fans when he was handed his first team debut by Spanish manager Unai Emery in October for the League Cup game between Arsenal and Blackpool.

Julio Pleguezuelo is currently the captain of the Arsenal young side and has made 13 appearances for the Academy this season, leading the side record seven wins, four draws and two defeats.
