Chelsea and Brazil defender David Luiz has endured a devastating season with the Blues and he might be moving out of the team.
The Brazilian who re-joined Chelsea from PSG in the 2016-17 season has failed to get much playing time this season due to his unfortunate injury crisis.
Just after returning from the long-term injury layoff that kept him out of action for most parts of the season, David Luiz is set to return to the recuperating room for another three weeks after picking up a knee injury in the Blues training ground during the week.
According to Conte in his pre-match conference ahead of Tottenham clash, the 30-year-old won’t be involved in any action for the next three weeks as he has a minor problem in his knee.
Antonio Conte has revealed that David Luiz is likely to be sidelined for around three weeks with a knee injury.
Luiz last played for the Blues in their shocking 4-1 defeat to Watford at the Vicarage Road in February and it is yet to be seen if he would be fully fit to feature in Chelsea’s match before the season ends.
Meanwhile, Conte and his men are currently preparing for tomorrow’s clash against Tottenham, the Blues are in the 5th position in the Premier League table, five points behind Tottenham who are in the fourth position.
Conte must, therefore, defeat Spurs so as to stand a better chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League competition.
