Bruno Fernandes

English Premier League outfit Man United are desperate for a deal with Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon over the signature of their star player Bruno Fernandes.

It is claimed that Sporting Lisbon have received offers from other suitors for the Star Player but the Red Devils are determined to win the race.

However, the Red Devils have arranged a meeting with Sporting Lisbon, according to a Bola report.

It is claimed that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Bruno Fernandes to be a major part of the new Man United team he wishes to set up, using this summer transfer window.

Manchester United are now willing to pay within the region of €70-80 million after learning that Liverpool and Man City are also in the race for the player.

This is after the Red Devils suffered a disappointing last season and failed to qualify to the Champions League.

Suggestions are that Sporting Lisbon will seek to release Bruno Fernandes but that will happen if the right fee is paid for his signature.

Tottenham had earlier indicated interest in Bruno Fernandes so as to make him a direct replacement for Christian Eriksen who has been linked away from the club to Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.
