Premier League Legend Berates Chelsea For Hudson-Odoi Treatment

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has slammed West London giants Chelsea for the way they have treated young winger Callum Hudson-Odoi this season.

The Red Devils legend spoke about Chelsea and Callum Hudson-Odoi while he was doing his punditry work on popular British media channel Sky Sports.

Gary Neville was surprised that Chelsea have not given Callum Hudson-Odoi more playing time at the club as he has been restricted to just 14 starts in all competitions.

Callum Hudson-Odoi was recently given his first start in the Premier League against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 18-year-old made his first start during the 3-0 win over the Seagulls on Wednesday night.

Callum Hudson-Odoi impressed a great deal against Brighton as he provided the opening goal of the game for French World Cup winner Olivier Giroud in the first half before further goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Eden Hazard in the second half wrapped up the comprehensive win for the Blues.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been frustrated with the little time he has been given at Chelsea this season after breaking into the first team last summer.

He tried to force through a move to German champions Bayern Munich in January after handing a transfer request which was rejected by Chelsea.

Bayern Munich had multiple bids rejected for the player during the winter transfer window.
