According to reports, Arsenal are still keen on Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani but are yet to table an offer.
Rugani linked with Arsenal
The defender has been strongly linked with the North London giants for a number of seasons now.
The player’s name has come up in a number of transfer windows, but no deal ever completed despite the numerous rumours.
Rugani, 23, is now a full member of the Juventus team and is getting more playing time.
Rugani happy at Juventus
Even now, the Gunners remain keen on the youngster, according to the defender’s representative.
“Daniele [Rugani] is doing well, he’s delighted [at the club]. Arsenal? They [Arsenal] didn’t submit an offer, but they [Arsenal] did show their interest [in the defender]. We [the player and agent] respect Juventus,” he informed Radio Sportiva (as per Calciomercato).
The Gunners could do with reinforcing their backline and the Juve starlet would be a decent option.
Hot prospect
He’s tagged as one of the brightest talents in Italy and could end up becoming a leading centre-half at the Emirates Stadium for many seasons.
Unfortunately, the Serie A champions are not going to offload such a talented player.
The Gunners would possibly need to offer a huge transfer fee to convince the Italian side to sell.
