Massive Injury boost as Danny Welbeck is passed fit ahead of North London derby – report

According to reports, England international forward Danny Welbeck could be fit enough for selection for Arsenal’s home tie against local rivals Tottenham Hotspur in Saturday’s first north London derby of the season.

As per the Evening Standard, Danny Welbeck should be available for the clash of their local neighbours in what should be a hotly-contested match at The Emirates Stadium.

The Englishman has been ruled out of action since a 2-1 defeat to Watford at the Vicarage on October 14 due to a hamstring injury.

The Arsenal star missed the Gunners 5-2 win over Merseyside club Everton at the Goodison Park and the Arsenal’s 2-1 victory against Swansea City at the Emirates.

The Ex-Manchester United forward watched on as his current side lost 3-1 to English Premier League runaway leaders Manchester City in their last English Premier League fixture before the FIFA international break.

The striker has netted three goals and has provided one assist in six matches in the English topflight in the 2017-18 League season so far.

The North London giants are 12 points adrift Manchester City, tutored by Pep Guardiola after 11 matches to rule out a Premier League title bid in the current season.
