Premier League winner exit on the cards – Chelsea transfer news

Reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea could sack Italian tactician Antonio Conte in a matter of hours.

Conte could be sacked soon

Following Chelsea’s 4-1 defeat at Watford on Monday night, the former Italy boss is close to being sacked.

Conte’s relationship with Chelsea hierarchy has been deteriorating for some time now, especially over his team and transfer activity.

And after consecutive losses by three goals to AFC Bournemouth and Watford, the Blues may take severe action.

Barcelona man tipped to replace Italian

According to a report by Starsport, former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is being tipped to replace the former Juventus head coach.

With the La Liga leaders awaiting the Blues in the UEFA Champions League later in the month, it looks like Enrique may well have taken charge by then.

As per Spanish publication SPORT, the Spaniard is practically a step away from becoming the new manager at Stamford Bridge.

Abramovich set to take action

Chelsea Billionaire owner Roman Abramovich could relieve the Italian of his duties sometime today and turn to the ex-Barcelona Coach.

The Spaniard is top of Blues’ wishlist and he has had approaches from other clubs.

But the tactician who led the Catalan club through their treble-winning season in 2014/15 is looking for a project at a side with potential – and the West London club meets his criteria.
