North London giants Arsenal have received a major boost in their chase for Daniele Rugani with the Serie A star keen on a transfer away from his current side.
The respected Italian publication CalcioMercato have claimed that Rugani is becoming frustrated at his current club and is looking for a transfer away with Premier League side Arsenal ready to offer about €40million for the star.
Daniele Rugani is only 23-years-old but has sealed himself in recent years as one of the hottest prospect centre-backs in the Italian Serie A and already has already amassed 80 matches in the Italian Serie A top-flight League.
The defender, however, has not been handed regular playing time that Leonrdo Bonucci’s summer transfer move to AC Milan from Juventus would have claimed and is eyeing a switch away from the side to seal regular football playing time.
The Italian could be the right solution to the Gunners defensive crisis who have extremely struggled to seal a consistent regular backline this campaign. Further, with French tactician Arsene Wenger’s continued stance to play three defenders at the back, Rugani could be a required reinforcement.
Also, the Gunners have been handed another major boost regarding the playing future of Jack Wilshere after the midfielder admitted that he hopes to sign a new contract with the club.
