Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham has hailed Antonio Conte’s efforts in improvement of the club’s loan players.
The 19-year-old striker has been in an electric form with Bristol City where he joined in the summer on a season-long loan, scoring 13 goals so far in the English Championships.
Abraham who had earlier admitted he is pushing for a return to Stamford Bridge, has now credited Antonio Conte for giving him the confidence to perform well even while on loan.
He told the London Evening Standard: ‘Conte looks interested in the youngsters and he spoke to me when I was on the pre-season tour,
‘He gave me tactical advice. He told me the right areas to get into and how to adapt to different situations.
‘Conte gives me that belief that when I go back to Chelsea, hopefully, he’ll give me the chance.
‘It’s very motivating for me to know you have that support and you have people who are aware of how well you are doing. It gives you confidence to go out there and give your 100 per cent.’
Conte has been praised by many for his heroics with the Blues and it appears to be creating a new style for the Blues who have often been criticized for not prioritizing the promotion of their youth stars.
