According to reports emanating from France, English Premier League Champions Chelsea are preparing to put Brazilian Willian up for sale in the New Year to fund a transfer for Paris Saint-Germain outcast Lucas Moura.
The 26-year-old has played 141 matches for Chelsea since making his debut in 2013 and was crowned Chelsea’s Player of the Year in the 2015/16 League season, but the Brazil international winger has dropped below the pecking order under Italian tactician Antonio Conte at the West London club.
Antonio Conte is thought to be on the hunt for a replacement for Willian ahead of the winter transfer window and French giant PSG are listening to bids for the 25-year-old Lucas, which has put the former Juventus head coach on red alert.
Top news publication Le 10 Sport is reporting the Blues are looking to cash in on Willian for a high fee and are eyeing a move of around £27million for the PSG star, his Brazil team-mate.
Lucas Moura has only played five matches for the Ligue 1 side this season following the mega-million dollar summer arrivals of Brazilian Neymar Jr. and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe at the club.
He admitted the season started in a tough way for him, but he confirmed his aim is to win back his starting place.
