Lazio have reportedly lined up a replacement for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic who has been touted for a move to Old Trafford.

Replacement eyed for Savic

The Serie A side have allegedly lined up Atalanta’s Bryan Cristante to replace the Manchester United transfer target.

According to the Independent this week, Manchester United have named two targets to reinforce their midfield in the summer transfer window. As per reports, Jose Mourinho is growing increasingly keen on Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from the Serie A side and Shakhtar Donetsk star Fred to add some pace into a midfield that has seen a number of rotation and changes this summer.

Italian publication CalcioMercato have now claimed that Lazio have eyed a replacement for Milinkovic-Savic, which is a massive boost for the Red Devils that Lazio have already began to prepare for life after the Serbian midfielder.

Lazio want Atalanta starlet

The report suggests that Lazio have noted Atalanta youngster Bryan Cristante as a potential replacement to Milinkovic-Savic if the midfielder eventually leave this summer.

Milinkovic-Savic has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for while now and the Daily Mail claimed a month ago that United have been scouting on the player who could cost £89million.
