The representative of Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri has allegedly been spotted in the City of London, amid rumour of a transfer to either Arsenal or Chelsea.

Sarri favourite to land Premier League job

According to Football Italia, the Napoli manager remains a major target for the two London sides, despite the increased anticipation that the Serie A giant will beat league leaders Juventus to the Serie A title this season.

Sarri’s team Napoli, who have earned a lot of plaudits this term sit only a point adrift Serie A leaders Juventus, with the Turin giants facing a tricky title run in.

The 59-year-old allegedly has a buyout clause in his Napoli deal thought to be about £7 million.

Chelsea leading race

Maurizio Sarri is believed to be one of the favourites for the Chelsea managerial job when Italian tactician Antonio Conte leaves this summer transfer window.

Massimo Allegri and Luis Enrique have also been heavily linked with the managerial job. With Maurizio Sarri’s low buyout clause well considered, he would be a cheaper appointment for the side to make this summer transfer window.

The Blues brightened their Champions League hopes on Saturday with a 1-0 victory over Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
