Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that he would like to bring in a Brazilian to his team this summer transfer window, as rumours continue of a swoop for Chelsea attacker Willian.
United linked with a move for Willian
The Red Devils tactician has been linked with a transfer for the Chelsea man for some time, having managed Willian during his spell as manager at the West London club.
But in a recent interview with ESPN, the Portuguese tactician said he doubted that Chelsea Billionaire owner Roman Abramovich would offload the player to their arch-rivals.
Mourinho said: “I [Jose Mourinho] worked with Brazil international players in every club I [Mourinho] coached, and I [Mourinho] enjoyed [managing them] a lot, everything they [Brazilian players] can give and also every issue they can create!
Jose loved working with Brazilians
Jose Mourinho said he honestly enjoyed working with the Brazilian player’s a lot, and confirmed his Manchester United team could have a Brazilian in the team next season.
However, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid tactician ruled out bringing in Willian because he felt Chelsea won’t make the move possible.
Willian came on as a second-half substitute on Saturday as his Chelsea team defeated Swansea by a lone goal at the Liberty Stadium to rekindle their Champions League hopes.
